The Douglas Design District is a 3-mile stretch in downtown Wichita that is home to more than 300 locally owned businesses. Beginning in 2015, the group commissioned murals featuring and/or incorporating elements of the Wichita flag. As flag fever has spread across the city, other area businesses and organizations have also developed murals showing their community pride throughout the city.
